Classic Tiki Bar Culture & Modern Mixology in Hawaii

HawaiiHawaii ActivitiesHawaiian Food

Hawaiian drinks made a splash on the pop-culture scene in the last century with the popularity of Tiki bars and movies that glamourized Polynesian and Hawaiian culture, like Elvis's Blue Hawaii and the musical South Pacific.

Thankfully, Hawaii serves up classic Tiki-style and contemporary cocktail culture across the Islands. There are swanky spots that exude mid-century Tiki cool, a thriving brewery scene, and atmospheric dive bars.

Here are just a few locations around the Islands that we particularly enjoy. Kāmau or to your health!

The Halekulani - House Without a Key

The restaurant has a lanai space perfect for taking in sunset drinks and pu-pus while listening to the elegant sounds of a Hawaiian band playing nostalgic Hawaiian songs accompanied by an elegant hula performer.
