Kauai - Garden Isle Quilters Exhibit and Quilt Show
Looking for some new quilting accents for your home or a unique quilted gift for someone special? Stop by the Garden Isle Quilters Exhibit and Quilt Show. The event typically takes place in August. The show includes unique and beautiful quilts that reflect the artists' lives on the Garden Isle; most items will be for sale.
Maui - Sunday Sunset Jazz at Maui Kuia Chocolate Factory
Maui Kuia Chocolate Factory is a boutique candy company located in Lahaina. You can visit any time; however, on Sundays, they offer a special evening of chocolate, cheese, and Jazz. The evening includes the opportunity to pair chocolate tastings with the wine. Maui Kuia Chocolate supports Maui's music education programs, so your support and attendance will help support music education on Maui.
Big Island - Kokua Kailua Monthly Stroll
Take a stroll on the Big Island through Kona's Historic Kailua Village and shop, dine and support local businesses and vendors each Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM- 6:00 PM. This pedestrian-only event showcases local vendors, artisans, and crafters, as well as festive entertainment and mouth-watering food. Kokua Kailua runs along Alii Drive. The event happens throughout the year.
Oahu - Punahou Carnival
Punahou School holds a festive carnival every year. The Carnival, which takes place in February, features local foods, Hawaiian entertainment, and rides. If you are traveling to Oahu in February and want to do something that connects you to the local community, check out the Punahou Carnival, get some kettle corn, and enjoy!
Oahu - Bishop Museum - Regular Events
The Bishop Museum is a wonderful way for visitors of all ages to learn about the cultures and history of Hawaii and the Pacific more broadly. The museum has many artifacts from Hawaii and other island cultures in Polynesia. There is also a room dedicated to royal ceremonial items. In addition to regular exhibits, the museum often hosts special events. There are often events at night on the grounds, including hula shows and in the planetarium.
