The three-bedroom villa rests next to a 150-foot, white sand beach. The beach is shared with the neighboring Coral Cove Villa. Swim in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea or bask in the sun on the beachside lounge chairs. The beach also has two large thatched umbrellas for guests who want to relax in the shade. Adventurous guests can use the villa’s kayaks. During your day on the beach, don’t forget to enjoy the swim-up deck complete with a floating bar.
As you walk from the soft white sands of the beach to the villa’s emerald green lawn, you will find the villa’s private pool. The round pool is surrounded by a stone deck and shaded by tropical trees. Float in the crystal clear waters and enjoy the view of the Caribbean Sea and nearby mountains. After swimming, take a nap in the poolside hammock.

If a single group is staying at both the Linga-Awile Cottage on the Beach and sister property of Coral Cove Villa, the staff can accommodate and serve meals to the whole group at once. The villa also has an outdoor barbeque perfect for a poolside or beachside meal.
The villa’s other living spaces include a spacious, covered veranda and an inviting living rom. Cool ocean breezes play through the open-air veranda. Sit on one of the furnished veranda’s chairs and take in the view of the pool and Caribbean Sea. Inside, the living room offers equally comfortable seating. Wide doors open out onto the dining patio.
The bedrooms at Linga-Awile Cottage on the Beach feature gleaming wood floors, peaked ceilings, and soft pastel-colored walls. Each room is air-conditioned. The first bedroom has the option for a king-size bed or two twin-size beds. The en-suite bathroom has a combination bathtub and shower. The second bedroom has two queen-size beds, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a combination bathtub and shower. The third bedroom has a king-size bed. This room’s en-suite bathroom has a luxurious walk-in shower.

The staff keep the place spotless clean, and there is ample room to spread out. The delightful cook helped us to establish our grocery budget. I recommend taking advice and joining your cook at the supermarket for your initial grocery stock so that she knows what you like, how much you intend to eat, and spend. The cove is very small and private, the small pool clean and adequate, and the complementary kayaks handy. Discovery Bay is pleasantly undeveloped and not at all like the ubiquitous 4-star all-inclusive hotel destinations. You will be in close contact with the local community which is a pleasure as you are perpetually greeted with broad welcoming smiles.
